Tourists have been desperate to find the proverbial ‘lesbian city,’ after rumors of a ‘sex-mad lesbian city’ spread like wild fire. It is said that in this place, the ‘women couldn’t suppress sexual needs.’ Millions of Chinese men are said to be desperately looking for the location of the said site. Tourism agencies in Sweden have been deluged with inquiries from ‘millions of men captivated by a mythical town rumoured to be home to 25,000 sex-mad lesbians.’

The town’s name is ‘Chako Paul City’ and is said to ‘have been founded in 1820 in the northern Swedish woods by a wealthy man-hating widow. Two blonde women are rumoured to stand guard at the town, which also features a medieval castle.’

The stories behind the lesbianization of the place reek of melodrama. According to a Chinese news agency, the tale goes that ‘many of the town’s female residents became lesbians because they could not suppress their sexual needs.’

The myth seems to have augured well with the Chinese media that have been featuring the story. The result: China’s Internet providers have been crippled by inquiries from ‘millions of men’ trying to find directions to the fabled place. These media reports send a caveat, though: that those who seek the place ‘risk being beaten half to death by police if they dare pay a visit.’ This, perhaps, makes the hunt more challenging to these men?
