There are times in life when we have to do a lot of background research in order to understand aspects of technology that we would otherwise not understand. One such field is that of the robotics and when you consider the effects of robotic technology on modern lifestyle, you would know that it is being used extensively. However, the technology is still nascent and not much has been achieved the way common man would like robots to be.

Instead, robots are being used in medicine, engineering and even household chores which leads us to believe that the future is quite promising. However, there have been many barriers to robots and their developments. One such example is when Kato-San’s new TETRA micromouse robot impressed a lot of people.

However, due to problems with lighting conditions and other issues, the TETRA did not make through the final Expert Class event. The reason why it did not work is found in this cool video, which you would need to watch a couple of times to understand.
