Imagine, dear readers, a place where only men can attend, where they do physical activities together, corms and sleep side by side, all in perfect sync. Plus: imagine all of them taking orders, some in a submissive way, while others heed such orders without questioning them.
What would be what? A test for dancers? No! A sadomasochistic camp? No. I’m referring to the military. A group of people who are conservative by nature, but they are hypocrites all the time.
A poll released today showed that the vast majority of American voters believe that gays and lesbians should be allowed to serve the U.S. military without hiding their sexual orientation.
A Quinnipiac University poll found that 57% of American voters believe that gays should openly declare their sexual orientation to serve in the army, against 36% who believe that this should not happen.
Prevent gay men and women entering military service would, therefore, a discriminatory attitude to 66% of voters. But for 54% of respondents, gays serving the Army should limit the display of their sexual orientation at work, while for 38%, this is not a problem. Well, who would like to see a drag queen with machine guns?
The University interviewed 2617 registered voters in the United States between 2 and 8 February. The poll has a margin of error of 1.9 points.
