One of the biggest and most influential online news magazines, The Huffington Post has scored past LA Times and Washington Post websites in terms of unique visitations. LA Times and Washington Post are two of the most reputed and revered websites when it comes to news and information. Yet, according to the latest Compete.com analysis, The Huffington Post has far surpassed the user visitations and has left both its competitions far behind.

As per the data, The Huffington Post recorded a whopping 8.4 million visitors for the month of September, as against the 7 million visitors it recorded for the month of August. Though, LA times had fared far better than The Huffington Post in terms of visitations in the month of August, recording 8.2 million visitors, even then, for the month of September LA Times was close behind leader with 8.3 million visitors. The biggest dip in numbers has been witnessed by the Washington Post website, that had recorded 9.3 million visitors in the month of August, but fell down to ju 8.1 million visitors for the month of September.
