The Power Hub: A Great New Device to Hide all that Excess Cabling

As the number of gadgets keeps on increasing, the number of wires also inevitably increases and I am sure those messy wires lying all over the place isn’t such a treat to the eyes. But here is a really cool way of managing those wires in a neat fashion.  The Power Hub is this under-the-desk plug point housing, which not only keeps all the cables together, but also allows you to roll the excess cabling.

The three openings on the top of the unit can be used to direct your cords neatly to your power strip. There are also three integrated chord anchors that can wrap and hide all the excess cabling.  This Power Hub can be placed anywhere depending on your requirement, be it at the bottom of the desk or on the wall. There are these holes in the bottom of the hub which enable you to attach your power strip directly to the unit.

Its size is 3.5″ x 10.5″ x 9.5″. It has a rubber base which helps it stay in place. The IKEA Signum is usually used to hide away the cables but this one has the additional feature of wrapping up the extra cables. Right now the Power Hub isn’t in mass production. Only if enough interest is shown by customer will go into production for $23.95.
