Lies have short legs.

A Belgian teenager told the police that she ha left a room with 56 stars tattoo etched on one side of her face, more than the three that she asked, according to authorities in the last Tuesday.

“I said this part, to the top, that was okay, but not the rest,” said Vlaeminck Kimberley to the Belgian VRT television, in the city of Kortrijk, 90 km northwest of Brussels.

The girl, 18 years old, said she fell asleep during the procedure, and woke in pain, while her nose was being tattooed.

However, the girl who accused the tattooist, now admitted having lied. The Belgian said she was awake the whole time and only invented the story because her father was “furious”.

Vlaeminck said in an interview on a Dutch TV, that she asked the tattoo and, initially, she loved the end result. But “when my father saw the tattoo he got mad. Then I said I had slept and that tattooist had made a mistake,” she said.

The tattooist, Rouslan Toumaniantz, denied all the time that he did the tattoos without her consent. He even said that he would pay part of the removal of tattoos on the face of the girl because he doesn’t like to see an unhappy customer.
