The London-New York route has to be the busiest and the most exclusive in the world, along with the Paris-New York route. Ever since the Concorde crashed in Paris many years ago, the Concorde fleet was grounded for good and flying between London and New York in just about 3 hours became a thing of the history. Well, not anymore it seems.

The Aerion Supersonic Jet does not have the elegance and class that the Concorde did but nevertheless will reach Nye York from London in 3 hours. Targeted at the business and ruling class, the flight costs £47.5million each. In about four years, we can expect the Aerion to take the skies, bringing the supersonic flight back to the commercial arena and this time, Concorde isn’t there to give any competition at all.

Perhaps, the idea of traveling at the speed of sound is the greatest lure of these flights and it wouldn’t be surprising to see a number of people booking the flight tickets in advance. The rich and the famous will once again be able to have breakfast in the Times Square and catch up for a satisfying lunch at the Soho district in London.
