This is what Seasteading Institute wishes to call its long awaited patent-pending, prize-winning project. Andras Gyorfi, the 27-year-old Hungarian graphic designer behind its creation won U.S. $1,000 grand prize in the Seastead Design Contest.

After many community projects have conquered land, it’s now the sea’s turn to give in to the architectural aptitude of humans. Gyorfi’s deserving design embraces a tiny city with every recreational facility we would think of. The lush green rooftop gardens and soft earth tones allure us to an eco-conscious lifestyle. The large swimming pool, outdoor amphitheater, helicopter-landing pad, and shaded marina are quite cool and comforting. This floating wonder would model brilliantly landscaped walking paths that are easily accessible. Each of the buildings on it is a different architectural marvel in itself.
Luxury cruise ships are not new, but the Swimming City will surely take living in the sea to new heights and would give a perfect place for populace vexed with the land and its traffic to lead a peaceful life.
