Phillip Hermes is the famous designer who has envisioned and created a capsule called Urban Mole. It is actually a robot that would wade through sewers to delivers packages. Why on earth? Well, apparently by the time it is 2020, there would be no space in our cities to deliver packages and parcels and only sewers would provide the passage and transit for deliveries.

The Urban Mole will be able to deliver groceries, documents and even electronic goods! I somehow do not appreciate the idea of my food and groceries being delivered through the sewage drains but some people really find it cool. This can be proved by the fact that the Urban Mole won the second place in VisionWorks contest.

Imagine if these capsules come smeared in sewage and some guy has to open it up? I can almost feel the disgust in the guy who picks up and opens these capsules. Apparently there would also be MoleStations, just like we have the tube Stations. Wonderful idea, but sorry. It does not appeal to me.
