Vanity is a funny feeling. It makes you believe you are going to exist forever and ever. That you would even live after your death. The reason why people take to religion is because of their vanity, for believing in God and afterlife gives them a sense of importance, which is needed to fuel their vanity.

Some go to the extent of making elaborate arrangements about where they ought to be buried. Funny as it may sound, I came across this ridiculous ‘The World’s Most Luxurious Grave’ where the rich and the mighty can rot in a couple of days. And rot how! The rotting body can have a Plasma TV, wine, bed, mirror and what not!

While the body continues to rot, all the luxuries of life stand as testimonies to the foolishness of humankind that continues to seek solace in Religion and elaborate funeral practices. There could nothing be better than the furnace to have one’s body burned to smithereens in a few minutes and then be forgotten, instead of being an object of contempt and ridicule even after you die and begin to rot in the World’s Most Luxurious Grave.
