Tokyo Motor Show 2009: Mazda Sky D Diesel and Sky G Unveiled

It is not always that you come across an auto show that is entirely composed new vehicles and even their spare parts. The Tokyo motor Show is one such event where you can expect to see it all, and thanks to which it is still one of the most popular auto shows.

The Mazda Sky D diesel and Sky G was unveiled to appease the gasoline engine friendly market. It comes with low-friction engine blocks, direct ignition, piezi-electric injectors and a really functional variable valve timing mechanism. The engine is being touted as a fuel efficient way to travel and Mazda claims it increases 30% in fuel economy.

The engine is not only eco-friendly but also very powerful and long lasting. Perhaps you must think about this engine when you are about a mod a car, and you could rev up the engine to speed along the highways like a star. It would interesting to see if Mazda would also come out with any interesting cars this season.
