Ahead of the Tokyo Motor Show 2009, Nissan unveiled its Land Glider concept which is being touted as one of the most shocking designs in the auto industry yet.

It is a bike and a car hybrid and does not have a steering wheel. Just like a motorcycle, this hybrid car can tilt and one can corner speeds and calculate velocity very easily. The car also comes with sensors which detect approaching vehicles and thus make sure the driver and the passengers are safe. This Nissan car is definitely quirky, small and attractive but I doubt it would meet with any excitement among the crowds.

Firstly, it lacks power and secondly it is neither much of a car nor a bike. Nevertheless, it could be used as an urban transport vehicle and also to reduce pollution, as it is an electric vehicle. If you charge the battery once, it would hold power for the entire average day commute in a large city. Pretty interesting though, I must admit.
