Toshiba Inc. has launched an all new Dynario fuel-cell specifically for the users who are mostly on the go and use a host of portable devices for personal and personal use. The newly introduced fuel cell has been long anticipated and been much talked about, because of its high reliability and varied functions.
This all new power cell, also known as direct methanol fuel-cell (DMFC) comes with its very own cartridge that enables the users to refuel the battery, while they are on the move. The Dynario fuel-cell will be released into the mainstream market on October 29th in Japan and is estimated to carry a price tag of $328. Consumers can also opt for a set of five fuel cell cartridges by putting in an additional $34.

Operating the fuel cells is completely hassle free and absolutely safe. The Dynario fuel-cell refills in about 20 seconds and has total capacity of 14 milliliters in its fuel tank. The fuel uses a concentrated solution of methanol, that powers the cell and enables it to charge the portable devices, attached to it.
According to Toshiba,
“The palm-sized Dynario is Toshiba’s first DMFC product. Once fueled with an injection of methanol solution from its dedicated cartridge, Dynario starts to generate electricity that is delivered to a digital consumer product—a mobile phone or a digital media player—via a USB cable. On a single refill of methanol which can be made in an instant period (around 20 seconds), Dynario can generate enough power to charge two typical mobile phones.”
