
We did discuss Toyota’s undeterred will to develop the eco way some time ago. Now we have more news on that scene. The famous car brand as just announced that 10 units of the much-awaited Prius and the new Lexus Hybrid HS230h will launched by the early 2010s. Right now the eco cars are being showcased at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
We also heard of the Toyota line up. Buzz is that once the lithium ion battery-powered Plug-in-Prius gets launched by year end, the car brand will busy itself working on a Battery Electric Vehicle called the FT-EV urband commuter vehicle that will be released aroun 2012.
Toyota says that the FT-EV is inspired by the revolutionary iQ urban commuter vehicle, which is a four seater that gives comfort, an exceptional mileage and a sporty performance. It is already a big hit in Japan. The FT-EV is being tragetted at the urban deweller who has to drive somewhere close to 50 miles between home, work and the market.
