It just seems that people these days are so concerned about the well-being of the planet that even after their demise, they do not wish to burden Mother Nature with further pollution! Japanese firm Lequios is responding to people’s request of a cleaner and greener last ride to the dark depths of death valley by designing the Toyota Prius Hearse, which will give you a pretty decent mileage of 44 mpg. The carrier to your grave will be chiseled in elegance, style and comfort along with its reduced carbon-emissions and an accentuated moral high ground that it offers. While the fuel consumption rate might not be all that ‘economic’, it is not like you would be taking the Prius Hearse on a ride everyday!

Still to make its way out of production, the hearse version of the third generation Prius is extended 1930mm for a total length of 6400mm and costs roughly $83,000. While there are plenty of green innovations, products and gadgets we are keen to try out and many eco-friendly vehicles that we would love to give a test ride, this is one set of wheels that all of us would be happy to just review from the outside… At least for now!
