Alice in Wonderland will finally come alive as a yet another entertaining Disney movie in March 2010. The first move to promote the movie has been made. A trailer was launched on 23 rd July, 2009. The movie will be adaptation of both “Alice’s Adventure in Wonderland” and “Through the Looking Glass”.
Lewis Carroll’s two books are full of fantasy and imaginative characters. It must have been challenging indeed to merge the two books and bring alive some of the best fantasized characters ever in English literature like Alice, Mad Hatter, Cheshire Cat, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, Caterpillar and March Hare.
Alice in Wonderland, the movie is directed by Tim Burton and stars Mia Wasikowska as Alice Kingsley, Johnny Depp will play Mad Hatter, Stephen Fry will be the Cheshire Cat and among others it will be Anna Hathaway as the White Queen! Well, with this star cast this Disney production will be highly awaited movie of 2010.
I am sure this trailer is just the beginning of the promotion. Movie promotion goes on at all levels till the film is released. Do watch out for other promotions and launch of many accessories, fun gifts, movie clippings, T-shirts, posters, mugs etc etc. Hope to see the grinning Cheschire Cat everywhere!
