There is no denying the fact that skiing is a fun-filled adventure. You could add more fun to this adventure sport by arming yourself with a pair of Zeal Optics ski goggles called the “Transcend.” These are no ordinary ski goggles that you have ever seen. These are indeed highly sophisticated and advanced. Transcend comes with built-in GPS. Apart from this, there is also speed data; it also gives you information on the altitude and the temperature.
Besides, it also has a lot of other things such as; virtual odometer, stopwatch, time, anti-fog, and a helmet compatible design. This sounds so cool and the goggles will definitely be very convenient for skiing. However, I am more excited about Zeal’s future plans to include more interesting features. Apparently, they are going to roll out some other features like the trail maps, caller ID, text message display, buddy tracking, online data sharing (statistics, etc), mountain traffic reports, camera and recording features, virtual run previews, lift line information, music controls, emergency calling, and some more.
I wonder how these additional features will be encompassed. Time will tell what the end results really are. At the moment, the SPX spherical version is sold for $350 whereas, the SPPX xtreme low light spherical photochromatic coating is available at $450.
