Hot air balloons always mesmerized me as a kid and after all these years, I still find my long cherished dream unfulfilled. However, Aeolus shows me a ray of hope to soar the skies. Aeolus, the concept airship travel vehicle designed by Christopher Ottersbach looks like a rejoinder to the rising need for fresh, clean and electrifying modes of travel around the globe.

Designed to carry two to four people, Aeolus drifts into the air by using large volumes of helium and can hover at heights for about two weeks. Now, that sounds like a long journey! Contrasting the conventional hot air balloon, it has an aerodynamic shape that enables it go with the wind and comprises a motor and enough tools to steer it in wanted direction. Furthermore, it can be moved over land with just a mere endeavor without use of any complicating devices.

The erect shape, sleek design and the fold out stand favors the landing of Aeolus in areas away from the airdromes. People like me can now probably visit all those exotic places in every corner of the globe on this eco-airship. So, while I see my dream coming true, all you travel freaks out there, keep an eye on this because you never know when it would take-off!
