Those that are over weight probably already know the basic: to eat less and better and to practice exercises. Those are the presuppositions of every diet, but an option that guarantees better results always appears. Now it is the time of Twitter.
The “Tweet What You Eat” diet combines other two simple ways to lose weight: the friends’ pressure and the creation of an alimentary journal, and it is if showing quite effective, besides for celebrities.
The application proposes to the user to tweet each meal, what allows the easy observation of what is consumed, but also that the user’s followers make him/her, turning public the ingestion of calories and embarrassing the ones that leaves don’t follow tge diet.
This online journal, that already counts with more of 8.000 followers, also possesses the system CrowdCal, a database of alimentary calories that calculates the consumption starting from the data that the users supply regarding what was ingested, which provides a better calories control. There is still a forum to discuss about foods and nutrition.
The spokesperson of WeightWatchers told to the newspaper The Sun that to control what is ingested using the technology is positive because most of the people is afraid when making calculations of what ate, and Alex Ressi, the creator of Tweet What You Eat, increases that the formula helps because the people have need to share the success with the other ones, as it detaches The Telegraph.
