Rumours of Microsoft’s plans to release two new Smartphones have been around for quite some time. Titled Pink, the slider phones will be manufactured by Microsoft in collaboration with Sharp. Apart from the Pink rumours, there has also been news of a remade Microsoft Tablet.
According to the current rumours, the Pink Smartphones are titled Turtle and Pure. Apart from the news of these phones, there hasn’t really been much information on the features of the phones. The Turtle apparently looks quite similar in appearance to the Motorola Q1 and Pure may be available on Verizon. Those who have been waiting eagerly for the Microsoft Pink Smartphones would have to wait a few months because it is believed that the company would make an announcement at CES in January 2010.
As for the Microsoft Tablet, rumours say it would be a smaller Surface and has been code named Oahu. Apparently, the tablet will be part of ‘Alchemy Ventures’ except that no one is sure what that is yet. As for specifications, you’ll just have to wait till Microsoft reveals anything concrete.
