Fever is one of the most common symptoms one complains when he goes to see a doctor, especially if the patient is a child. Doctors or parents have a tough time recording the child’s temperature using the conventional mercury thermometer which has to be inserted in disapproved places like the rectum or under arms. Most often they check it with the back of their hands, which doesn’t give them the accurate temperature.

Duck Young Kong has found an expedient solution for this. Lunar Baby Thermometer is a device which gives us the temperature of the body just by placing it on the forehead. The ergonomic shape of the device makes it easy for us to hold it. After placing it on the forehead, you’ll hear a beep and subsequently the LED display flashes indicating that the job is done. It then shows the temperature in digits on the LCD screen.

The device is small, handy, easy to use and faster compared to the clinical thermometer. And like the designer says it would now be easier to check the child’s temperature without uncomfortable placing of glass sticks in places of discontent holding them in a still position.
