There is nothing new about solar powered lamps but UVonion is definitely special and distinct from the rest of them. Designed by Yun Li, an industrial designer, UVonion is an onion-shaped UV lamp that not only serves you as a lamp but it also does an important job of zapping away the germs. It’s more like a multipurpose lamp. With the use of ultraviolet LED, the UVonion lamp emits UV light, which in turn sterilizes the home’s interiors.

Besides, it also comes with a solar panel and an internal rechargeable battery, which stores the sun juice. It’s perfect to keep in your drawing room. However, you may also place this anywhere in your room or you can even keep it inside your wardrobe as the LEDs do not emit heat.

Yun Li’s novel idea is really cool and it should perhaps be welcomed. What attracts me the most about this lamp is its onion shape. It looks very cute and special as well. This lamp is absolutely a double treat for your home. It will light up your room without using any electric power, and at the same time it will also keep the germs away.
