Victor Company, which is based in Japan has launched a new next-generation super thin LCD technology and is dedicated to 32″ TV displays. This is apparently one of the thinnest LCD screen technology if not the thinnest. It would allow great flexibility and would have an unprecedented aesthetic appeal and could be used both in commercial and residential areas.

The technology uses a new optical system and also a LCD construction which is modular in nature. It would make displays to be only 0.28 inch and would weigh 5kgs. It uses approximately 50% less material based resources and about 10% lesser LCD module parts. It also comes with low heat radiation and maintains optical intensity.

The Victor Company of japan, which is also called the JVC has made the technology to be energy efficient, and is green and clean. The prototype of this technology in the form of a 32″ TV will be exhibited at the CES 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada on the 7th of January. Do keep a watch for we shall feature mnany more consumer electronic products which shall be exhibited at the CES 2009.
