Microsoft Windows Mobile operating system isn’t anything new and neither are the devices that run them. However, it is quite unusual to see a device with Microsoft Windows XP mobile operating system platform. The reason being that, even though there are a few devices that do run the Windows XP mobile OS, still there aren’t many Windows XP powered mobile device to speak of.

But, there has been another addition to the small list of devices running Windows XP mobile operating system. The all new N01 MID from ViewSonic is yet another example of such a device. The N01 is said to be 3G network supportive and features a 6 to 7 inch touch screen. The ViewSonic N01 MID is powered by a 1.1 GHz Intel Atom Z510 processor and has 1 GB of RAM along with 10 GB of storage capacity.

ViewSonic’s new Windows XP powered N01 MID features dual cameras, whose resolution is yet unclear, but what is certain is that, the cameras have been designed in a way that one takes photographs and the other camera can be used as a web cam. There also seems to be an extendable antenna that can be retracted from the device, and whose feature are still unknown. One of the best features of the device is the finger mouse and mouse buttons, that would most definitely provide the users with a much more pleasant able experience.
