Vigorous Exercise Cuts Breast Cancer Risk

Perhaps exercise can do a lot more good than just keeping you slim and attractive, In fact, regular exercise has been found to cut risk of breast cancer during and after menopause. Many women may be surprised to know that exercise can drastically reduce their chance of acquiring breast cancer. However, it must be noted that very vigorous exercise alone can prevent cancer and work such as housework, vacuuming, painting; light sports etc do not decrease the risk of breast cancer.

However, brisk and heavy exercise such as chopping wood, aerobics, fast dancing, digging in the garden etc had a favorable result when cutting the risk of breast cancer. In fact, women who exercised vigorously saw a decrease of 30% in the rate of acquiring breast cancer.

Perhaps women must start exercising when the reach menopausal ages and maintain the exercise regimen even as they grow older. It was not known if such vigorous exercise has any effect on men’s risk of acquiring prostate cancer. Nevertheless, it isn’t new to declare that vigorous exercise can help people maintain health and prevent disorders and diseases.
