Wall Street is all set to go for a grand image makeover and resurrect the image in the eyes of the people. According to Bloomberg it has roped in former aides of former Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson to head the initiative which will involve renowned strategists, lobbyists, media campaigners for its new publicity campaign.

Wall Street intends to project change and accountability as main elements of the campaign. With its “city-by-city, grass roots” approach Wall Street will target policy makers and the media. But undoing populist backlash and over reaction against bankers and financial institution is not going to be easy. The financial scandals and collapse of one financial institutions after the other, layoffs have had great impact on entire economy and each citizen. Madoff may have got sentenced but financial crisis has changed the entire face of economy and trade.

Wall Street campaign is going to be greatest challenging campaign ever. It is matter of reinstating lost faith and trust on the banks and bankers. More than image makeover it is the good reforms and accountability which is more needed.
