Today’s teens have everything they could possibly want, and it is still not enough. Brazilian designer Roberta Rammê intends to make life much easier for teenagers by bringing everything they could possibly desire a whole lot closer.
The Wave Chaise is a lounge chair that is more than just a piece of furniture. Inspired by the personality of today’s teens, the chaise lounge has in it everything that a teenage could possibly ask for, except food. With a most ergonomic design that will encourage slouching and bad posture, the chaise lounge has a 42” TV embedded in i on which the teen can watch movies all day. If it is music that he desires, CD racks are formed all along the sides of the chaise lounge and on the front. For the teen that needs to stay in constant touch with other gum-chewing buddies is a phone base and charger on the left side. It also includes racks for comics and magazines, no self-respecting teen would place a text book anywhere near this holy entertainment station.
The Wave Chaise is only at the conceptual stage and most people, leaving all teens obviously, would hope that it never gets beyond this. But even the most hard-working minimalist would have to accept that the Wave Chaise looks awesome and has a real cool design.
