Werewolf Boy Desires Human Life

werewolf boy Werewolf Boy Desires Human Life

Most every boy, except perhaps Boy George, waits for the appearance of facial hair so very eagerly they sometimes fall asleep at night praying to the Blue Fairy. Many cultures celebrate the coming of age of males with the presentation of a razor, or a sharp stone, whichever is cheaper.

But when you have to shave off more than just half of your face every morning, things can become quite cumbersome. Indian boy Pruthviraj Patil knows how difficult that can be. Born with a genetic disorder, Patil has thick clumps of hair growing all over his body, sparing only palms of his hands and the soles of his feet. Known as the Werewolf syndrome, the rare disorder has caused havoc in the lives of some fifty others.

Scientists still haven’t found a cure for the disease, perhaps because the disease is so rare. But then again, they haven’t found a cure for the common cold either. Perhaps they should forget the bio-chem labs and try to create an extremely nifty shaver for these non-howling werewolves.
