We all remember the Apple iPhone 4G fiasco that happened a few weeks before the launch of the official product, where in, a prototype version of the device was found in a bar in Redmond. Since the launch of the iPhone 4G, there has been a renewed effort from various handset manufacturers to come up with something, that can give a stark competition to the iPhone 4G. The war of the smart phones is about to get a new warrior in the form of the Microsoft Windows Phone 7 series, that is scheduled to be officially launched in the month of October this year.
However, like the déjà vu in the Matrix series, a repeat of history is being played as of now in the case of the Windows Phone 7 series, as one of the prototype devices with the logo of Asus entrenched on it has surfaced in Pakistan. The details on the device are sketchy at best, but there are numerous reports, that it has been seen running Windows Phone 7 mobile operating system. One of the remarkable factors of this newly found treasure is the vivid difference between the Asus handset in question and the prototypes delivered to media outlets and reviewers in the U.S and Europe by LG (Panther) and Samsung (Taylor).
