WolframAlpha Finally Released For Apple iPhone

One of the most anticipated applications for Apple iPhone this year, WolframAlpha has finally seen the light of day, as Apple cleared the application to be placed in Apple Apps Store. WolframAlpha is a graphics calculator that provides answers to user queries, via the means of computational calculations and structured data, rather than displaying a list of web pages, as a search engine would do. The all new iPhone app is available via Apple iTunes at a staggering cost of $50, the second most expensive application available in the Apps Store.

The all new WolframAlpha graphics calculator has primarily been designed for students, professionals, engineers and other individual, who require accurate numbers in their respective fields of work. One of the most admiring feature of WolframAlpha iPhone app is the inclusion of multi-input on screen keyboard, that enables the users to put in their query easily and with much pace. The app offers three types of keyboard layouts on the screen. One layout represents number, the other represents symbols and the third layout represents a full QWERTY keyboard.

However, the drawback that makes the $50 price tag ridiculous is the fact that, the WolframAlpha application requires internet connectivity to work, there by making is useless in the offline mode. Due to the fact that, Apple Apps Store delivers loads of other graphic calculators that work offline as well, the situation emerges where a user will not be spending $50 for this particular application, when he can’t use it as the time of need, irrespective of the reputation of the application.
