When the world’s most expensive liquor bottle gets photographed with a fashion icon to pose with it, glam quotient gets a multiple boost.

If the woman represents the very cause for which this masterpiece got designed, the combination – cause and piece, is near perfect. Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur Bottle – the ultimate sign of luxurious spending got unveiled at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York.

And to do the honour of unveiling the diamond and crystal studded showpiece, iconic fashion designer Betsey Johnson stepped on. Needless to say, there was tight security at the event. International jeweler Donald Edge has designed this $3 million spirits container.

At three million dollars, one cannot be surprised that it is the world’s most expensive container for spirits. The Chambord bottle has over 60 carats’ diamonds including 1,100 round brilliant cut diamonds, pear cut diamonds, a square cut emerald diamond, the finest round pearls and hand-wrought 18 carat yellow gold. Proceeds from the sale of this bottle will go on to fund the breast cancer awareness campaign, besides which some proceeds will also be provided to Johnson’s designated charity National Breast Cancer Coalition. Betsey Johnson is a breast cancer survivor herself, having fought it in all earnest.
