WorldFirst Formula 3 Racing Car Is Fueled By Choco And Wine!

There have been many eco friendly cars designed and conceptualized over the years but this car that makes its track debut next month may just be the greenest of them all. The WorldFirst was built from recycled cars, plastic bottles, aeroplanes, carrot fibre and is powered by 100% WorldFirst Isbiodiesel made from chocolate and wine. Intoxicating mix!

The Formula 3 racing car was made at Warwick University and apparently performs as well as any other Formula 3 racing car. WorldFirst has a 230hp engine that goes from 10-60mph in 2.5 seconds and can hit a top speed of 170mph. Except the for the tyres which were made from conventional rubber (following motor racing rules) the rest of the car and the fuel used to power is completely green; even the mix of choco and wine as fuel are industrial waste.

Dr. Kirwan who led the team which created WorldFirst refers to the car as an attempt to prove to environmentalists that motor racing can be sustainable and that going green can be fun! WorldFirst can be seen at Brands Hatch on 17th of October this year.
