“Important Pocket Watches, Wristwatches and Clocks” sale will be hosted by Patrizzi and Co. from October 7th. Exceptional timepieces and watches by Patek Philippe would be exhibited for discerning buyers and auction seekers.
The double-faced “Sky Moon Tourbillon,” Ref. 5002, is apparently the most complicated Swiss watch to be ever manufactured and that would be auctioned off in the exhibition. It comes with 18 carat yellow gold and a black dial which makes it look almost fit for the Tsar of Russia. You would just need to hold your breath as it is expected to fetch up to $1.1 million to $1.3 million.
Other timepieces that are going to be on display and put on for auction are four platinum watches with “Barques” dials, Ref. 5076, four white gold “Birds of Paradise” wristwatches and a few others. The sale will take place in New York and later, they will take place in Milan and Geneva as well. If you are rich enough to get a watch like this, you really must go ahead with your plans!
