Guitar Hero, the most talked about game this year and perhaps the most entertaining too, would hit the stores this Sunday. The new version of Guitar Hero is being launched by Activision Blizzard Inc would cost $189.99 and perhaps is the most expensive game Activision has ever launched.
Considering the recession and the economic turmoil, it would be interesting to see if people would spend a huge amount for a game, an amount that can easily buy you a major console itself. Several versions of the game have been launched too, so that the price could be lowered and reluctant customers could be attracted.
Nevertheless, with download options and the music acts associated with the game, Guitar Hero would surely rock on through the recession phase and prove that gaming is the most affordable and popular form of entertainment today.
