Xbox users would now be glad to know that the gaming console by Microsoft will add social networking sensations like Twitter, Facebook and even last.fm. his way, people can not only listen to music but also network with friends and acquaintances.

This was announced at the Electronic Expo (E3) at Los Angeles. Apart from the social networking and online radio services, users can also access Netflix, the online film rental service. Xbox Live will also offer news and other TV programs on the console which would obviously make all the Xbox owners happy and jubilant.

Even on Facebook gaming is popular and thus, having Facebook on Xbox is actually a great idea. Now Xbox Live will make Xbox the whole online experience with audio, video, entertainment, gaming, information, social networking all at one place. It is not clear if other consoles would also follow Microsoft’s suit but these changes would definitely make consoles very different.
