For all those mothers who have a tough time feeding small babies, take a look at Yoomi. This interesting gadget has won innovation and research awards. It heats a baby’s feed bottle to the temperature of breast milk approximately 32-34 degrees within 30 seconds. It’s a necessity to feed warm milk to young infants as they often tend to deter from feeding when they are fed with cold milk. Ideally the best method is to breastfeed the infants.
Interestingly, Yoomi is designed by Farah and Jim Shaikh, a married couple. Apparently, the device was designed out of desperation after the birth of their eldest son. Yoomi can be used as a normal bottle as well without using its warmer. When you want to heat the milk, all you have to do is press the orange button. The warmer retains the same temperature up to an hour and it can also be recharged around 100 times.
Mothers can also put breast milk or formula milk into the bottle and leave it to heat it anytime. You can buy the Yoomi bottle and the feeder for 22 pounds. You can also buy a pack of two teats at an additional cost of 4.50 pounds from John Lewis.
