You May Want to Drive Nano Car this Summer

Tata Motors announced that it will launch its much awaited car Nano this March 23 in Mumbai. The world’s cheapest car will finally be launched in the Indian market.

The one lakh car that was mainly targeted towards middleclass families of India who couldn’t afford expensive cars. Given that majority in this segment of the market owns two wheeler, a car that of this price range would definitely be a huge success. The booking of the car will start from the second week of April. The cars will be on display in all the Tata motor dealerships stores.

After the initial setback in the manufacturing process due to the Singur land row, Tata Motors is still trying to recover the time lost in its new production facility in Gujarat. The launch is to be grand and historic. Ratan Tata, the mastermind behind this ambitious has advised that Nano be taken to all the holy shrines across the country before the launch.

The booking amount for the “people’s car” is to be around Rs. 70,000. Since mass production will take place only by 2010, only 3,000 cars a month will be manufactured.
