Now the trend seems to have been shifted to navigation capabilities with Zanier introducing Ski Gloves with GPS functionality.

Zanier Introduces World’s First GPS Enabled Gloves

The Austrian Company is known for developing winter sport accessories like Gloves ad Headgear among other things. The X-Plore.XGX Gloves is one of their hallmark creations from the 2010/2011 lineup for it is the world’s first glove with GPs functionality. Irrespective of how bad or good the external weather conditions are, Zanier claims that these gloves can securely navigate you to or from your destination. It can log one’s outdoor expeditions by means of supplied software with the route pulled from the web. The display is placed on the thumb and controls on the upper hand thus rendering ease of use.

Apart from the landmark addition of GPS utility, there is also Gore-Tex X-Trafit technology gives a ergonomic grip, lasting comfort and perfect mobility. The gloves would come with a USB stick, USB cable and integrated lithium ion batteries. Well, a word on price is missing, but we know anything under the tag “World’s First” comes with a steep price tag.
