The online retailer Zappos, has initiated a campaign, wherein the company is dedicating its efforts to lift the morale of its employees and is recognizing the efforts of the Zappos workforce. Continuing on the employee appreciation path, will now be running a campaign, through which it hopes to educate the customers as to the importance of its customer service representatives, that the company also refers to as customer loyalty team.
As per the campaign, that is scheduled to be broadcasted from Monday onwards, Zappos will reach out to its potential and current customer base and make them aware as to how these representatives make the Zappos transactions so seemingly easy. The Zappos campaign will include television commercials, print media advertisements, along with a huge online presence on various websites and major social networking services, such as Facebook, YouTube and of course, Zappos.com
The entire campaign is spearheaded by the advertising agency, Muller, which is part of the Interpublic Group of Companies and the entire campaign has a budget of an astounding $7 million. The theme of these advertisements will revolve around the telephonic interactions between the Zappos representatives and the customers. The Zappos employees are represented by muppets, that have been designed after actual Zappos employees.
