Zipcar is a unique vehicle platform that takes the extra step to make sure electric vehicles are not just about going around the town for about 25 miles. Most consumers get put off by the idea of using Electric Vehicles because one would need to charge the car for 3 or 4 hours and in the end it would not last beyond a few dozen miles.

However, the converse is also true and people usually sue these cars to travel within the city and that would not amount to more than 25 miles and the trips would not last more than 4 hours, Thus, the Zipcar seems to be an ideal choice for urban commuters who would be looking for a clean and green vehicle that does not demand a lot of resources. It could be used within urban areas.

This alternative vehicle reduces emission and would be best suited to areas where commuting distances are short and one would not have to drive for a long time.
