Zon Hearing Aid: Too Chic to Hide

Often we wear a disguise, pretend to be someone else or possess a certain trait to raise our sympathy level. Interestingly, this time people would be putting up a pretence less for sympathy and more to raise their hot level.

People who have no problem hearing may soon start pretending about a hearing defect, just to be able to wear this hearing gadget. The Zon Hearing Aid designed by Stuart Karten Design is small enough to be hidden when worn curled around your ear, but wearers may not want to hide this because of its extremely cool design. In fact, the design won the People’s Design Award presented by the National Design Museum through votes cast by visitors to the Cooper-Hewitt website.

Tiny, practical and extremely sleek, the Zon hearing Aid is unfortunately still in the conceptual stage. Hopefully, after the success of its design, it would manage to get itself to the production stage.
